Ana A Francisco, PhD is a cognitive neuroscientist and science communicator.

 

As a scientist, her work is focused on characterizing brain function in rare genetic (22q11.2 deletion syndrome and cystinosis) and neuropsychiatric (schizophrenia) conditions. As a science communicator, her goal is to make scientific findings accessible in ways that are visually compelling and truly meaningful and impactful to different clinical and non-clinical populations.

Ana is the creator of MhOOD (Mental Health Outreach On Display), co-founder of C.O.D.E., editor of the 22QUARTERLY, editor of The CNL, and social media editor for the Schizophrenia International Research Society.
